Nedim Ademovic, attorney of a Turkish citizen whose permanent residence in Bosnia and Herzegovina has been cancelled due to a threat to national security, said at a hearing held before the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina today that he was unable to provide an adequate defence and presented evidence that Fatih Keskin resided in Bosnia and Herzegovina legally.

Over the course of this year the Prosecution of Bosnia and Herzegovina has filed eight indictments against 23 individuals for corrupt acts, while the State Court has passed down six verdicts, including five convictions, following guilt admission agreements - the data collected by the Balkan Investigative Reporting Network Bosnia and Herzegovina, BIRN BiH, suggest.

The Prosecution of Bosnia and Herzegovina has filed an indictment against seven former members of the Bosnian Serb Army, VRS, who are suspected of persecution and murder of at least 48 Bosniaks committed in the village of Jusici, near Zvornik, during 1992. The defendants include Pero Radic, also known as Jarac [he-goat], Bozo Vidovic, Petko Tomic, alias Gavran and Crni Gavran [raven and black raven], Branko Studen, Dusan Spasojevic, known as Sifra [passcode], Vlado Ristanovic, alias Tosanov, and Milan Mijic, also known as Miso.

Bosnia’s State Investigation and Protection Agency arrested former Bosnian Serb Army soldier Sabahudin Kajdic for seizing and killing Bosniak civilians in the Prijedor area in July 1992. State Investigation and Protection Agency, SIPA police officers on Monday arrested ex-serviceman Sabahudin Kajdic, alias Sasa, for allegedly committing a crime against humanity in July 1992.
