Today the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina announced that it confirmed the indictment against former Croatian Defence Council member Perica Kustura in July 2014.
A Bosnian state prosecution witness says that she heard that her neighbours were involved in the murder of several Bosniaks in the village of Kozarusa, including her brother-in-law.
Testifying at the trial of former Bosnian Serb commanders Ostoja Stanisic and Marko Milosevic, witness Milorad Trbic denied his involvement in the Srebrenica genocide. Trbic is currently serving prison time for his role in the Srebrenica genocide.
Dzihad Kovacevic, a defense witness testifying at a trial for crimes allegedly committed by Bosnian forces in Kladanj, said that he felt endangered by the armed residents of Serb villages in that area.
Nedzad Hodzic and Dzevad Salcin, both former members of the Zulfikar Unit of the Army of Bosnia and Herzegovina, are currently on trial on charges that they tortured, assaulted and sexually abused Serb prisoners on Mount Igman in 1993.
Bosnian State Prosecution witness Fatima Pivac said that in the summer of 1992 she saw men in Croatian Defence Forces (HOS) uniforms in the municipality of Trnovo, shortly before the killing and detainment of civilians which took place there.
Over the past year courts in Republika Srpska, the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the Brcko District have sentenced 34 persons to a total of 194 years in prison for war crimes.
