After a trial that has lasted one year, the Bosnian state court will issue a verdict in the Petar Kovacevic case. Kovacevic has been charged with war crimes in the Visegrad area.

The Supreme Court of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina repealed the verdict in the Ilija Pavic case and ordered a retrial. Pavic was sentenced to three years in prison for war crimes in Livno.

A court medical expert testifying at the trial of Goran Vujovic, Miroslav Duka and Zeljko Ilic said he was unable to determine the cause of death of victim Ferhat Avdic, whose remains were found in May 2002.

The Bosnian state court has confirmed an indictment against Milisav Ikonic, Dragan Lubarda and Zoran Ilic for wartime rape in the Rogatica area in 1992.

The Supreme Court of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina has reduced the sentence against Perica Adzic by a year and four months. He has now been sentenced to two years and eight months in prison.

The Supreme Court of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina repealed a verdict which sentenced Hajrudin Dedic to six years in prison. Dedic, a former police officer in Breza, was found guilty of torturing and treating civilians in Breza in an inhumane manner.

Testifying in his own defense, Gligor Begovic told the court he beat detainees held in the Batkovic detention center when ordered to do so, but didn’t sexually abuse any detainees.

A prosecution witness and former high official of the Bosnian Serb Army testified at the trial of five former members of Bosnian Serb police forces charged with genocide in Srebrenica. He said he was ordered to mobilize fifty buses on July 11, 1995, and said the buses were sent to the Bratunac stadium.

The state prosecution introduced more than 100 pieces of evidence at the trial of Goran Saric, who is charged with genocide in Srebrenica.
