The prosecution said in a statement that Ujic was charged with participating in the persecution of the local population during a widespread and systematic attack on Bosniak civilians in Rogatica.
It alleged that he commanded and personally participated in an attack on the village of Kozadre, where around 20 civilians, including minors and women, were injured and captured afterwards.
Eight men were killed, and houses and other property were set on fire.
According to the prosecution, the remaining civilians were detained and then expelled from the Rogatica municipality.
“The bodies of the eight victims who were killed were found, exhumed and identified after the end of the war,” the prosecution said.
The indictment has been filed to the state court for confirmation.
