They are accused of having participated in planning and carrying out persecution by committing murders, detaining people, inflicting physical or mental pain and suffering, as well as other inhumane acts during a widespread and systematic attack on the Bosniak and Croat population in the Teslic municipality from April 1992 to the end of that year.

“The defendants have been charged with having supervised and managed members of the regular and reservist police forces of the Public Security Station in Teslic, who, together with members of a military and police formation known as ‘Mice’ and Bosnian Serb Army forces from Teslic, conducted attacks on and persecution of the local population in places where Muslims and Croats were the majority population,” the prosecution said when it raised the indictment.

According to the charges, the defendants committed their crimes in their capacity as management staff of the Public Security Station in Teslic, where Kuzmanovic was the chief and a member of the crisis staff, Markocevic was a commander and Djukic was head of the crime department.
