The appeals chamber of the state court sentenced Milic to seven years in prison after the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina repealed part of the first instance verdict referring to the application of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina of 2003. Milic was originally sentenced to eight years in prison.
“The rest of the verdict remains unchanged,” a state court announcement reads.
Milic was found guilty of assisting in the abduction of the three Grgic brothers from their home on June 6, 1992, with another perpetrator. The brothers were taken to the municipal building of Kotor-Varos, where two of them were killed and one was wounded.
