Ivica Kraljevic, Mate Jelcic, Slavko Skender, Stojan Odak, Nedjeljko Matic, Vice Bebek, Vinko Radisic and Dragan Miloc are charged with crimes in the VIZ prison in Ljubuski in 1993 and 1994.

According to a statement from the Bosnian court, Kraljevic, Jelcic and Skender are former commanders of the prison in different periods, while the rest of the defendants are former military policemen who worked as guards. All eight men are charged with taking part in a joint criminal enterprise aimed at implementing a system of prisoner detention and abuse.

The Bosnian prosecution previously said this case was transferred from the Hague prosecution. According to the charges around 200 Bosniaks were detained in VIZ Ljubuski in inhumane conditions.
