The state prosecution has charged Maksimovic, a former member of the Bosnian Serb Army, with abducting three people from a group of detained Bosniak civilians in the village of Repovac on May 9, 1992, and killing them. Maksimovic allegedly acted in collaboration with several other soldiers.

The state prosecution also charges Maksimovic with killing a Bosniak civilian in the village of Glogova on the same day. Maksimovic has also been charged with detaining a woman who he repeatedly raped after threatening to shoot her.

The case will be forwarded to the Serbian judiciary, since Maksimovic is a Serbian citizen.
