Objects Confiscated from Stanisic and Milosevic

At the trial of Ostoja Stanisic and Marko Milosevic, who are charged with genocide in Srebrenica, the Prosecution of Bosnia and Herzegovina, BiH, continues presenting material evidence, which the Defence does not find disputable.

Reports on engagement of manpower of the Sixth Battalion of Zvornik Brigade with the Republika Srpska Army, VRS, which was commanded by indictee Stanisic, while Milosevic was his Deputy, were included in the case file. Also, a document on command structure and filling of positions with the Sixth Battalion was included.
 
Among the presented pieces of evidence were reports on confiscation of objects found in Stanisic’s and Milosevic’s houses in 2012.
 
Stanisic and Milosevic are on trial for having killed about 1,000 Srebrenica residents in Petkovci village and on a nearby dam in Zvornik municipality in mid July 1995. The indictment alleges that the Battalion Command was located in Petkovci.
 
The trial is due to continue on Wednesday, December 10.
