The Prosecutor said that one of the documents issued by the Drina Corps of the Republika Srpska Army, VRS, was an order to detain captured men from Srebrenica, who were capable of rendering military service, in buildings so they could not be seen from air.

Stanisic and Milosevic are on trial for having killed about 1,000 Srebrenica residents in Petkovci village and on a nearby dam, Zvornik municipality, in mid-July 1995.

The indictment alleges that the Srebrenica residents were transported from a new school building in Petkovci to the nearby dam, where they were shot.

According to the charges, Stanisic was a Commander of the Sixth Battalion with the Zvornik Brigade of VRS, while Milosevic was his Deputy. The Battalion Command was situated in Petkovic, the indictment alleges.

The trial continuation date will be set at a later stage.
