Andabak was ordered into custody because there is a danger he would flee or influence witnesses and accomplices if released. Manwhile, Vrdoljak was released but ordered into house arrest.

Andabak and Vrdoljak were arrested on October 15 in Livno, due to suspicion they committed war crimes in that town in 1993.

Zdenko Andabak, a former Bosnian Croat soldier and Zoran Vrdoljak, a former official with the wartime Croat-led Herceg-Bosna statelet’s Internal Affairs Ministry, are suspected they took part in crimes against civilians in Livno in 1993.

The two suspects are accused of killing two Bosniak civilians in July 1993 and abusing another person.
