Former Croatian Defence Council military policeman Zdenko Andabak was acquitted on appeal of committing war crimes during an attack on the village of Grborezi in the Livno municipality in 1993. The appeals chamber of the Bosnian state court on Monday upheld the first-instance verdict clearing Zdenko Andabak of war crimes against the civilian population in the village of Grborezi, near Livno, in July 1993.

Former Croatian Defence Council military policeman Zdenko Andabak was cleared of committing war crimes during an attack on the village of Grborezi in the Livno municipality in 1993. The state court in Sarajevo on Friday found Zdenko Andabak not guilty of committing war crimes during the Croatian Defence Council attack on Grborezi July 21, 1993.

Testifying in defense of Zdenko Andabak, a witness said he heard the defendant informing the commanding officer on dead and wounded men and asking him to send an ambulance and police on the day when a disarmament operation was conducted in Grborezi village in Livno municipality.
