The Bosnian court on Wednesday confirmed the indictment of Zilic and Gakic, who are accused of the inhumane treatment of Serb and Croat civilians held at the Musala primary school in Konjic during 1993 and 1994.

The prosecution said that Zilic and Gakic injured and caused great suffering to the detained civilians, as well as violating their personal dignity.

The indictment alleges that Zilic and Gakic inflicted serious physical injuries to the victims, which left lasting consequences and physical damage. It also alleges that they sexually abused and humiliated some prisoners.

Detainees were wounded with various objects, cigarettes were put out on their bodies, and they were tortured with burning objects, the prosecution said.
