Considering the fact that they pleaded not guilty, their trial will soon begin before the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, BiH.

Godinjak is charged with having committed the crimes in his capacity as Chief of the Public Safety Station in Trnovo, Saric as Commander of the Territorial Defence Headquarters and Bunoza as Commander of units of the Croatian Defence Forces.

They are charged with having participated in a joint criminal enterprise with a common goal to kill, arrest and detain Serb civilians and set their property on fire in villages on the territory of Trnovo municipality.

Besides that, they are charged with having participated in murders and inhumane treatment of captured members of the Republika Srpska Army.

The Prosecution previously announced that more than 90 persons were killed during the commission of those crimes and that the victims were mainly the elderly. Many women, as well as a child born in 1990, were among the victims as well.
