The Prosecution presented reports by the State Investigation and Protection Agency, SIPA, related to the arrest of Marinko and Zoran Bjelica and handing over of the indictees to the State Prosecutor.

State Prosecutor Cazim Hasanspahic presented a statement given by witness Sejda Keso. The Defence of the first indictee said that it objected to the inclusion of this evidence in the case file because the statement was given in another case.

The Prosecutor proposed that minutes from the examination of indictee Marinko Bjelica be included in the case file, but the Trial Chamber said that it would not admit those minutes at this stage of the proceedings.

Marinko and Zoran Bjelica, as well as Novica Tripkovic, who were allegedly armed with automatic guns, are charged with having singled out prisoners Suad Hasanbegovic, Edin Bico, Seid Keso and Hasim Hatic from a school building on August 1, 1992 or approximately on that date.

The indictment alleges that they beat them up during that night. Keso died due to the beating. The remaining three prisoners were killed the following day. The body of Hasim Hatic has never been found, while the bodies of the three remaining prisoners were exhumed and identified in 2009.

Due to the holiday season the trial is postponed until August 18, when the Prosecution will continue presenting its material evidence. za Tužilaštva.
