The Trial Chamber and representatives of the Defence and Prosecution did not enter the courtroom at all. No new pieces of information concerning Mladic’s health condition were available to public.

The Tribunal has only shared the Detention Unit’s documents from yesterday and today, indicating that Mladic has not given up his right to attend the trial because of his illness and that he has been admitted to the Detention Unit’s hospital, where a doctor will examine him.

The Defence said yesterday that Mladic had stomach flu.

Mladic, former Commander of the Republika Srpska Army, is charged with genocide in Srebrenica, persecution of Muslims and Croats throughout BiH, which reached the scale of genocide in seven municipalities, terror against the local population in Sarajevo and taking UNPROFOR members hostage.

His trial began on May 16, 2012. The presentation of the Defence’s evidence is underway.
