Seven Indictees Due to Enter Pleas Next Week

On Monday, February 17 Jovan Popovic and Goran Popovic are due to enter their pleas to the charges for crimes in Visegrad. They are indicted for having participated in murders, rape, sexual enslaving, forced resettlement and unlawful detention.
Perica Adzic, who is charged with crimes in Zepce, Dragan Sekaric, who is indicted for crimes in the Visegrad and Gorazde area, as well as Zoran Bjelica, Marinko Bjelica and Novica Tripkovic, who are charged with having committed murders in Kalinovik, are due to enter their pleas on Thursday, February 20.
On Monday the Prosecution of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Defence are due to present their closing statements at the trial of Dragomir Soldat, Velemir Djuric and Zoran Babic, who are charged with the murder of ten Bosniak men in Carakovo village, near Prijedor.
On that same day the Defence of indictee Nihad Bojadzic is due to continue presenting evidence at the trial for crimes in Trusina, near Konjic. Those crimes are charged upon Bojadzic, Mensur Memic, Dzevad Salcin, Senad Hakalovic, Nedzad Hodzic and Zulfikar Alispago.
On Tuesday, February 18 the trials are due to continue in the case against Edin Dzeko, who is charged with crimes in Trusina and Jablanica, Oliver Krsmanovic, who is indicted for crimes in Visegrad, and Aleksandar Cvetkovic for genocide in Srebrenica.
On that same day the Defence is due to continue presenting evidence at the trials of Ivan Zelenika, Srecko Herceg, Edib Buljubasic, Ivan Medic and Marina Grubisic-Fejzic, who are charged with crimes in Dretelj detention camp, near Capljina, and Predrag Milisavljevic, Milos Pantelic and Ljubomir Tasic, who are charged with crimes in Visegrad.
On Wednesday, February 19 new State Prosecution witnesses are due to be examined at the trials of Vitomir Rackovic, who is charged with crimes in Visegrad, and Ostoja Stanisic and Marko Milosevic, who are indicted for having committed genocide in Srebrenica. The trials of Zemir Kovacevic for crimes in Bosanski Brod and Milun Kornjaca, who is charged with crimes in Cajnice, are due to continue on Wednesday.
Bojadzic, Hodzic and Salcin are due to appear before the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina on Thursday. Bojadzic is on trial for crimes committed in Jablanica, while Hodzic and Salcin will appear in Court at the trial for crimes on Mount Igman. On that same day the trial is due to continue in the case of Josip Tolic for crimes in Odzak and Bosanski Brod.
On Friday, February 21 the trials are due to continue in the case against Vehid Subotic, who is charged with crimes in Dusina, near Zenica, Ibro Macic for crimes in Konjic, as well as Ramiz Avdovic and Iulian Nicolae Vintila, who are indicted for crimes in Sarajevo.
On that same day new Prosecution witnesses are due to be examined at the trial of Safet Mujcinovic, Selman Busnov, Nusret Muhic, Zijad Hamzic, Ramiz Halilovic, Nedzad Hodzic, Hariz Habibovic, Osman Gogic and Kahro Vejzovic, who are charged with crimes in Kladanj.
The retrials of Drazen Mikulic, who is charged with crimes in Dretelj detention camp, and Mehura Selimovic, Adil Ruznic and Emir Mustafic, who are charged with crimes in Krajina, are due to continue next week.
