Considering the fact that he pleaded not guilty, the trial of Malinovic will begin in the coming period.
The Sarajevo Cantonal Prosecution charges Malinovic, former member of the Republika Srpska Army, VRS, with having killed Smajil Gacanovic from firearms within the Zunovnica military barracks complex on August 15, 1992.
It is alleged that, after having committed the murder, Malinovic bragged about killing Gacanovic several times.
Malinovic is defending himself while at liberty.
