The crimes committed in Kljuc are charged upon Nenad and Predrag Bajic, Mladenko Vrtunic, Milan Lukic, Slobodan Dragic and Sinisa Babic.

According to the Bihac Prosecution’s charges, the former members of the Republika Srpska Army, VRS, participated in murders, rape and inhumane treatment of people in Humici, Vojici and Pudin Han villages, Kljuc municipality, in late 1992 and at the beginning of 1993.

The six indictees were arrested in February this year. They are held in custody in Bihac.

During the evidence presentation process the Prosecution plans to examine 50 witnesses and six court experts, who will present their findings and opinions.

The Bihac Prosecution charges one of the crimes described under the indictment upon Zeljko Budimir, but he is not available to prosecution bodies in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

“Budimir’s place of residence is in Serbia. Thanks to the international legal aid, he will be examined in Serbia. The investigation is in the final phase,” Prosecutor Jasmin Mesic said.

The Defence teams will present their evidence presentation plan once the Prosecution has completed the presentation of its evidence.
