Samardzija is charged with having participated, in collaboration with members of the Public Safety Station in Kljuc and Crisis Committee of Kljuc municipality, in the implementation of strategic goals defined by the Assembly of the Serbian people of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the period from June to the end of 1992.

According to the charges, he ordered attacks on undefended villages and hamlets inhabited by Muslim population.

“Several hundreds of civilians were killed in attacks on Ramici, Krasulje, Hripavci, Osljak, Donji Biljani, Botonjici, Domazeti, Brkici and Jabukovica villages and hamlets. Some of the survivors were mentally and physically abused, others were unlawfully detained in Manjaca detention camp, while the remaining population was forcibly resettled outside the territories of the Serbian Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina,” the indictment, which has been forwarded to the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina for confirmation, alleges.

The indictment further says that victims exhumed from several mass graves in Kljuc municipality and identified were allegedly killed in attacks commanded by suspect Samardzija.

Samardzija lived in Belgrade. He has the citizenship of both Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Serbia.
