The Prosecution of Bosnia and Herzegovina presents material evidence, including lists of prisoners, at the trial for crimes committed in the Central Prison and the “Viktor Bubanj” military barracks in Sarajevo.

Seven pieces of material evidence, which were presented today, included cards and daily reports related to prisoners, lists of prisoners held in the military prison in Sarajevo and Red Cross’ certificates for two of the prisoners.

Ramiz Avdovic and Iulian-Nicolae Vintila are on trial for crimes committed in the Central Prison and former “Viktor Bubanj” military barracks. They are charged with having participated, as members of a joint criminal enterprise, in the establishment and maintenance of a system for abuse of Serb civilians from late June to late November 1992.

The Defence of the indictees objected to the relevance of some of the pieces of evidence.

The trial is due to continue on August 19.
