According to the charges, Trle, former member of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, killed a captured member of the Republika Srpska Army, VRS at Banj brdo on Mount Majevica, Kalesija municipality in April 1993.

“The indictee approached a large number of members of the RS Army, who were lined up after having been captured. He then killed Drago Stevanovic by opening a burst of fire at him from an automatic rifle, while standing close to him. He did this in presence of other prisoners,” the indictment alleges.

Also, he is charged with having treated other captives, who witnessed the murder, in an inhumane manner.

In January 2012 the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina transferred this case to the Cantonal Prosecution of Tuzla Canton, which conducted an investigation and filed the indictment in this case.
