All six indictees who are charged with the crime committed at Koricanske stijene are now defending themselves while at liberty.
Prohibitive measures have been ordered against the three indictees. These include house detention, an obligation to report to the Public Safety Station in Prijedor, a ban on contacting witnesses, other indictees or accomplices, a ban on attending public gatherings and a ban on performing business or official duties in police or military bodies.
As per the Court’s decision, the indictees are not allowed to discuss their trial with anybody other than their Defence attorneys.
The State Prosecution charges Cetic, Jankovic, Stojnic, Zoran Babic, Milorad Skrbic and Milorad Radakovic, former members of the Public Safety Station in Prijedor and Police Interventions Squad, with participation in the shooting of about 200 civilians at Koricanske stijene on Mount Vlasic.
The indictment alleges that, on August 21, 1992 the indictees took part in organizing and escorting a convoy consisting of about 1,200 civilians who were being taken for an exchange. The indictment further alleges that at Koricanske stijene they separated about 200 people from the rest of the group, shot them and threw them into a ravine. Twelve people survived the shooting.
The six indictees were arrested in 2008. At the beginning of 2009 the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina terminated the custody of Babic, Skrbic and Radakovic.
