The debate topic is the first count in the indictment against Mladic, former commander of the Bosnian Serb Army, VRS, charging him with persecution that reached the scale of genocide in six Bosnian municipalities.
The debate participants are: Miodrag Stojanovic, one of Ratko Mladic’s defense attorneys, Vasvija Vidovic, an attorney, Krstan Simic, former judge with the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Zarije Seizovic, professor at the Faculty of Political Sciences in Sarajevo.
The programme also features a brief overview of the trial of Ratko Mladic before the Hague Tribunal, as well as stories by survivors from Prijedor and Sanski Most.
