Zmijanjac was arrested on Tuesday for allegedly taking the Bosniak civilian from his house and shooting him dead in July 1992.
“The suspect then threatened the killed man’s family members, who were taken to detention camps in the Prijedor area, where they experienced severe torture and abuse before being deported from the Prijedor area,” the Bosnian state prosecution said in a statement.
The prosecution will question Zmijanjac and then decide whether to file a custody motion or not.
