Trial chamber chair Davorin Jukic said a written agreement signed by Lipovac had been filed with the court, but the details of the agreement were not presented in the courtroom.

The state prosecution has charged Lipovac, a former member of the 103rd Brigade of the Croatian Defense Council and a former commander of a detention camp in a school building in Poljari in the Derventa area, with participating in the murder, torture, assault, and robbery of Serb detainees.

Lipovac was arrested in the Netherlands in May 2014. He was extradited to Bosnia and Herzegovina in November 2015.

On January 12, 2016, the court will announce its decision to accept or reject the plea bargain.
