Talovic and Tursunovic, former members of the Bosnian Army, have been charged with the abuse and mistreatment of civilian Milivoje Prodanovic. On September 15, 1992, the defendants entered Prodanovic’s house in Zivinice, cocking their rifles and pointed them at him. They then beat Prodanovic with their rifle butts.
At the request of the cantonal prosecution of Tuzla, neuropsychiatrist Kasim Brigic presented his findings on injured party Milivoje Prodanovic’s mental health. Brigic said Prodanovic had experienced severe mental suffering with permanent consequences, including anxiety and posttraumatic stress.
“He feels fear, due to a fundamental and persisting anxiety,” Brigic said.
The date of the next hearing will be set at a later stage.
