Verdict in Odzak Wartime Rape Trial Postponed

The state court postponed the announcement of the verdict in the trial of Marijan Brnjic, Martin Barukcic, Pavo Glavas and Ilija Glavas. The defendants have been charged with war crimes in the Odzak area.

The court said a new date for the verdict has yet to be determined. They were unable to specify the reasons for the delay.

The announcement of the verdict was scheduled for Thursday, November 26.

The defendants, all former members of the 102nd Brigade of the Croatian Defense Council, have been charged with raping and abusing Serb women in the Odzak area.
