Nikola Zovko, Petar Krndelj, Kreso Rajic and Ivica Cutura have been charged with participating in the murder and torture of Bosniak civilians in the summer of 1993. The trial will begin with a reading of the indictment on Wednesday, October 28.

On the same day, the first defense witnesses will appear at the trial of Adil Vojic and Bekir Mesic. Vojic and Mesic, both former members of the 501st Brigade of the Fifth Corps of the Bosnian Army, has been charged with the rape of a woman in the Bihac area in May 1994.

The defense of Ilija Juric will present its closing statement on Monday, October 26. Juric has been charged with the rape and sexual abuse of a Serb woman in Odzak in June 1992.

On Tuesday, October 27, appeals will be presented against the verdict in the Josip Tolic case. Tolic was sentenced to ten years in prison for war crimes in Bosanski Brod and Odzak.

On Friday, October 30, appeals will be presented against the verdict in the Ibro Macic case. Macic was sentenced for war crimes in Konjic.

Trials for genocide in Srebrenica and war crimes in Zvornik, Bratunac, Sarajevo, Trnovo, Srebrenik, Rogatica, Prijedor, Livno, Mostar, Visegrad, Kladanj, Foca and Sanski Most will continue next week.
