The Supreme Court of Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina reduced Drago Vukadinovic’s sentence to four months in prison. Vukadinovic was found guilty of crimes against civilians in the Busovaca area in 1993.
In January 2015, the cantonal court of Novi Travnik sentenced Drago Vukadinovic to two years in prison. In April 2015, the Federation supreme court reduced the verdict to a year and eight months in prison.
Vukadinovic plead guilty and expressed remorse for what he had done to injured party S.N. from Busovaca in 1993.
He admitted that he had beaten the injured party and expelled her from her house after she objected to sheltering a family from the Travnik area in her home.
Vukadinovic’s defense objected to the first instance verdict because of the length of the sentence, and asked that the Federation supreme court hand down a one year prison sentence.
The appeal was partially accepted and the sentence was reduced to four months.
