Sisic was found guilty on Thursday of raping a non-Serb woman in the basement and workshop of a local museum in Samac in May and June 1992.
 
“The trial chamber accepted the statement of the victim as complete and accurate. After analyzing all the evidence, we concluded that this defendant committed the crime he is charged with,” presiding judge Snjezana Banac-Lopandic said.
 
According to the verdict, Sisic must pay the cost of his trial in the amount of approximately 600 euros and 70 euros of additional fees, while the victim was ordered to file a civil suit to receive damages.
 
This verdict can be appealed.
 
The trial started on April 17, but was closed to protect the identity of the victim.
