Nedzad Hodzic is a former member of the Army of Bosnia and Herzegovina. He is on trial with Mensur Memic, Dzevad Salcin, Senad Hakalovic and Nihad Bojadzic for killings of Croat civilians and prisoners of war in April 1993. Hodzic’s defense will present its closing statements on Monday, April 6.

Vitomir Rackovic, a former member of the Army of Republika Srpska, has been charged with the detention, torture, enforced disappearances and rape of Bosniaks in Visegrad. His defense will present its closing arguments on Wednesday, April 8.

On Wednesday, April 8, a pretrial conference in the trial of Mirko Vucinic will be held. Vucinic has been indicted for crimes committed in the municipalities of Sanski Most and Prijedor. On the same day, the first state prosecution witness will testify at the trial of Mile Puljic, who has been charged with crimes in Mostar.

On Tuesday, April 7, the first state prosecution witness will testify at the trial of Radomir Markovic, Mile Kusic, Dragan Bozovic, Sasa Perkovic, Radomir Gluhović, Pero Radovic, Ilija Vukasinovic and Milos Vukasinovic. The defendants have been charged with the killings of Bosniak civilians in Rogatica.

On Tuesday, April 7, the defense teams of Marijan Brnjic, Martin Barukcic and Pavo and Ilija Glavas will begin with presenting evidences at their trial. The defendants are accused of committing crimes in the area of Odzak.

On Thursday, April 9, evidence will be presented at the trial of Miodrag Josipovic, Branimir Tesic, Dragomir Vasic, Danilo Zoljic and Radomir Pantic. The defendants have been indicted for genocide in Srebrenica. The presentation of evidence will beginning with a screening of a film about the Srebrenica genocide.

On Thursday, April 9, a session at the appellate chamber will be held in the case of Miodrag Markovic. In 2011, Markovic was sentenced to seven years in prison for crimes in Doboj. This verdict was reversed due to a misapplication of law.

Trials for crimes in Kotor Varos, Visegrad, Trnovo , Prijedor, Bihac, Bijeljina, Prozor, Capljina, Cajnice and Srebrenica will also continue next week.
