The district prosecution said it would examine eight witnesses and include material evidence in the case file.
The defense will present its evidence once the prosecution’s presentation of evidence has been completed.
According to the charges, Ikanovic participated in the murder of one Croat civilian in the Derventa area in October 1992.
It is alleged that he committed the murder as a member of the Vucijacka Brigade of the Bosnian Serb Army. Ikanovic allegedly acted in collaboration with another member of the same unit, who died in 2012.
Ikanovic pleaded not guilty in late February.
