Vrucinic, former public safety station chief and member of the crisis committee in Sanski Most, has been charged with participating in a joint criminal enterprise aimed at persecuting the non-Serb population in Sanski Most and Prijedor from April-December 1992.

The indictment against Vrucinic alleges that he participated in the persecution of the Bosniak and Croat population, including the murder, forcible resettlement, unlawful detention, enforced disappearance, and severe suffering of civilians.

The indictment was confirmed on January 28. The trial is expected to begin soon.
