Former Bosnian Serb fighter Predrag Marjanovic has been charged with the rape of a Bosniak woman in the village of Caparde, located in what was formerly the municipality of Kalesija. The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina confirmed the indictment against him in December 2014.

The indictment alleges that Marjanovic went to a building in Capаrde where Bosniak women had been unlawfully detained in June 1992. The women had been deported from the Brcko area and brought to Caparde. Marjanovic is charged with having committed rape and brutal sexual abuse at this location.

The prosecution alleges that at the time Marjanovic was a member of the Bircanska Brigade of the Army of Republika Srpska, also known as the Sekovacka Guards.
