The trial chamber said the witnesses did not respond to official summons, and prosecutor Milorad Barasin said he couldn’t reach them by phone.

The Bosnian state prosecution has charged Radisic, former Commander of the Working Squad of the Teslicka Brigade of the Republika Srpska Army, with participating in the abuse and inhumane treatment of Bosniak civilians in Telic.

He is also charged with forcing civilians to perform hard labour from from 1992 to 1995. At least six people were killed and a number were wounded on the frontline while performing forced labour.

The next hearing is scheduled for February 20, when two other witnesses are expected to testify.
