The Trial Chamber said that cross-examination of Josip Tolic was planned to be conducted at this hearing and that the trial would still be closed to public for the sake of protecting the indictee’s intimate life.

The Chamber rendered the mentioned decision at a request by the Defence and indictee Josip Tolic at the beginning of his testimony on November 30.

Tolic, a former member of the 102nd Odzak Brigade of the Croatian Defence Council, HVO, is on trial for having participated in the abuse of Serb prisoners on the territory of Odzak and Bosanski Brod from May to October 1992.

According to the schedule of hearings, this trial is due to continue on December 19.
