Indictee Babic’s Condition Deteriorated

The continuation of the trial of Milutin Babic, who is charged with crimes in Bosanski Petrovac, which was scheduled for Thursday, December 4, has been postponed until further notice, because the indictee’s health has deteriorated.

He was transferred from Luke Penal and Correctional Facility to the “Dr. Irfan Ljubijankic” Cantonal Hospital in Bihac.

“Patient Babic was admitted due to a suspected stroke. The diagnostic process is underway,” Maja Hadzimehmedovic, Spokesperson of the Cantonal Hospital, confirmed.
Babic is charged with having participated in the abuse and murder of captured members of the Territorial Defence from Sanski Most in Bravsko village, Bosanski Petrovac municipality. His trial began on September 16.
