Judge Davorin Jukic explained that the case in which Demirovic was the only indictee would be joindered with the case in which the State Prosecution charged him, together with four other indictees, with crimes in Potoci village, Mostar municipality, in 1993. After that a unified decision on prohibiting measures would be rendered.

In the former case Demirovic, former member of the 449th Eastern Herzegovina Mountain Brigade with the Army of Bosnia and Herzegovina, BiH, is charged with having forced one person to have sexual intercourse with him in Potoci village in 1993.

In the latter case Demirovic is charged, along with Enes Curic, Samir Kreso, Habib Copelj and Mehmed Kaminic, with having participated in unlawful arrests and detention of Croat civilians, who were subjected to severe physical and mental mistreatment, from the end of June to the beginning of December 1993.

The State Prosecution alleges that Curic was member of the 49th Mountain Brigade of the Army of BiH, ABiH, and Manager of a detention facility in the school building and other detention buildings in Potoci, Demirovic was Commander of the 47th Mountain Brigade of ABiH, Kreso was Chief of a military medical service with the Mountain Brigade, which was active in the Bijelo Polje area, while Copelj and Kaminic were members of ABiH.

The State Court decided that prohibiting measures against all of the indictees would be considered at a hearing scheduled for December 5.
