The confirmed verdict was pronounced by the Cantonal Court in Mostar in November 2003. Under the mentioned verdict, the Court sentenced Vulic, former member of military police of the Croatian Defence Council, HVO, for having killed three prisoners on July 14, 1993.

“Keeping guard next to a hangar within the Dretelj detention camp complex, where Bosniak men were detained, and knowing that detainees were either lying or sitting on the hangar floor, he opened fire through the window and killed Omer, Izet and Hasan Duvnjak,” the Trial Chamber of the Mostar Cantonal Court established.

The time Vulic has spent in custody, from February 2013 onwards, will be calculated towards his sentence.
