Marinko and Zoran Bjelica as well as Novica Tripkovic, former members of the Republika Srpska Army, VRS, are on trial for crimes in Kalinovik.

The indictees, who were allegedly armed with automatic rifles, are charged with having taken prisoners Suad Hasanbegovic, Edin Bico, Seid Keso and Hasim Hatic from a school building in Kalinovik on August 1, 1992 or approximately on that date and beat them up. Keso died after the beating, while the three other indictees were killed on the following day.
