As announced by the Court of BiH, Djojic was ordered into custody due to a danger that he might flee as well as a fear that, by staying at liberty, he might interfere with the criminal proceedings by influencing witnesses or accomplices.

Djojic, former member of the Croatian Defence Council, HVO, is suspected of having committed war crimes by raping and sexually abusing one female person in 1992.

He was arrested on September 4 this year.
