Prosecutor Vladimir Simovic did not specify which pieces of evidence those were, because the Trial Chamber requested that they be included in the file according to a list shown in the courtroom. Simovic said that one more State Prosecution was to be examined. He is due to testify via video link on October 14.

In order not to waste time, the Trial Chamber scheduled a status conference for Thursday, September 11. At the status conference the Defence of the indictees will submit a list of witnesses, whom they planned to examine in the upcoming period.

Hodzic and Salcin, former members of “Zulfikar” Squad with the Army of Bosnia and Herzegovina, ABiH, are charged with crimes against Croats and Serbs committed at “Mraziste” hotel on Mount Igman in the first half of 1993.

The indictment alleges that they participated in the torture and beating of victims, sexual abuse, cutting parts of victims’ bodies and other inhumane acts.
