As explained by the Defence, those pieces of evidence were included for the sake of determining differences between statements given in the investigation phase and testimonies at the trial, the truthfulness of the testimonies and credibility of the Prosecution witnesses.

The Defence of Bojadzic has included 440 pieces of material evidence from July up to this hearing.

Bojadzic is charged, along with Mensur Memic, Dzevad Salcin and Nedzad Hodzic, former members of “Zulfikar” Squad, and Senad Hakalovic, former member of “Neretvica” Brigade of ABiH, with crimes committed in Trusina on April 16, 1993.

According to the charges, 18 civilians and four members of the Croatian Defence Council, HVO, who had previously surrendered, were killed in an ABiH attack on Trusina.

The trial is due to continue on September 15 when a witness will testify in defence of Bojadzic.
