Trial Postponed Due to Ceco’s Illness

The Cantonal Court in Sarajevo postpones the trial of Ibrahim Ceco, who is charged with crimes against Serb civilians in Dobrinja neighbourhood, Sarajevo, due to the indictee’s illness.

Sadik Hota, Defence attorney of indictee Ceco, said that the indictee was seriously sick and handed over medical documentation about his health condition to the Trial Chamber.The Sarajevo Cantonal Prosecution charges Ceco, former member of the Army of Bosnia and Herzegovina, ABiH, who was allegedly accompanied by two other soldiers, with having physically abused Serb civilians, who were digging trenches in Dobrinja neighbourhood on September 18, 1992.
Ceco is defending himself while at liberty.
The trial has been postponed until June 5.
