Mladic is charged with genocide in Srebrenica, persecution of Muslims and Croats throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina, which reached the scale of genocide in seven municipalities, terror against civilians in Sarajevo and taking UNPROFOR members hostage.
 
Closed sessions represent the highest level of protection of a witness’ identity at trials held before The Hague Tribunal.
 
Prior to completing its evidence presentation in mid-November, the Prosecution plans to examine at least seven more witnesses.
 
The trial of Mladic is due to continue tomorrow, November 1, when Defence attorney Branko Lukic will continue cross-examining the witness at a closed hearing.
