Not Guilty Pleas for Crimes in Kljuc

Five indictees, who are charged with crimes committed in Kljuc, appear before the Cantonal Court in Bihac and plead not guilty.

The indictment alleges that Nenad and Predrag Bajic, Mladenko Vrtunic, Milan Lukic and Slobodan Dragic are charged with having committed murders, rape and inhumane treatment.

According to the charges, they committed those crimes as members of the Republika Srpska Army in Humici, Vojici and Pudin Han villages at the end of 1992 and beginning of 1993.

The five indictees have been held in custody since February, when they were arrested as per a warrant by the Cantonal Prosecution in Bihac.

Following their plea of not guilty, their trial is due to begin within the next 60 days.
