Presentation of evidence related to the allegation that the Republika Srpska Army, which was commanded by Mladic, committed genocide against about 7,000 Muslims from Srebrenica after having occupied the enclave on July 11, 1995 is currently underway.

RM-016 is the 142nd Prosecution witness examined since the beginning of the presentation of evidence against General Mladic in July last year.

Mladic is also charged with the persecution of Muslims and Croats throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina, which reached the scale of genocide in seven municipalities, terror against the local population in Sarajevo and taking UN “blue helmets” hostage.
