Appeals against a Srebrenica Crimes Verdict to Be Presented Next Week

The first instance Chamber of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina pronounced Kuvelja, former member of the Jahorina Training Centre with the Special Brigade of Republika Srpska police, guilty of persecuting the Bosniak population by participating in the forcible resettlement and murder of men in Kravica.
The presentation of appeals is scheduled for Monday, September 16.
On Wednesday, September 18 a court expert in psychiatry is due to present his findings and opinion about the indictee’s health condition at the trial of Milun Kornjaca, who is charged with crimes in the Cajnice area. Kornjaca is charged with having participated in the murder of 28 civilians, who were detained in the hunters’ house at Mostina, in May 1992.
The trial of Savo Babic, who is charged with crimes in Bratunac, is due to continue on Monday, just like the trial of Mensur Memic, Dzevad Salcin, Senad Hakalovic, Nedzad Hodzic, Nihad Bojadzic and Zulfikar Alispago, who are charged with crimes in Trusina, near Konjic.
The Defence of Oliver Krsmanovic, who is on trial for crimes in Visegrad, is due to examine two protected witnesses on Tuesday, September 17. The trial of Najdan Mladjenovic and Savo Zivkovic, who are charged with crimes in Bratunac, is due to continue on that same day.
The trials of Fikret Planincic, Rasim Lisancic, Sead Menzil and Mirsad Vatrac, who are charged with crimes in Kotor-Varos, as well as Predrag Milisavljevic, Milos Pantelic and Ljubomir Tasic, who are charged with crimes in Visegrad, are due to continue on Tuesday.
On that same day the trial continues in the case against Osman Brkan and Ibro Macic, who are indicted for murders in Blace village, near Konjic.
The trials of Branko Vlaco, who is charged with crimes in Vogosca, and Zemir Kovacevic, who is on trial for crimes in Bosanski Brod, are scheduled to continue on Wednesday.
The continuation of the trials of Ostoja Stanisic and Marko Milosevic, who are charged with genocide in Srebrenica, and Ramiz Avdovic and Iulian-Nicolae Vintila for crimes in Sarajevo is scheduled for Wednesday.
The trial of Mustafa Djelilovic, Fadil Covic, Mirsad Sabic, Nezir Kazic, Becir Hujic, Halid Covic, Serif Mesanovic and Nermin Kalember, who are charged with crimes in the Hadzici area, is due to continue on Thursday, September 19.
On that same day the trial is due to continue in the case against Zoran Marinic and Zoran Milic, who are charged with crimes in the Busovaca area.
On Friday a new State Prosecution witness is due to be examined at the trial of Safet Mujcinovic, Selman Busnov, Nusret Muhic, Zijad Hamzic, Ramiz Halilovic, Nedzad Hodzic, Hariz Habibovic and Osman Gogic, who are charged with crimes in Kladanj.
