Pavic is charged with crimes committed as a member of the Second Battalion of Military Police with the Croatian Defence Council, HVO.
According to the charges, in August 1992 Pavic and other soldiers came to Draganja Rosic’s house, where she was staying with her mother and Borka and Milorad Crncevic.
The indictment alleges that the HVO members ordered the Crncevic family to come out of the house, threatening them with weapons. The Livno Cantonal Prosecution alleges that indictee Pavic shot at Milorad Crncevic, hitting him in the groin area. Crncevic died from the injuries he sustained in the shooting.
Pavic is currently at liberty. He spent a month in custody last year.
According to the law, a plea hearing in Pavic’s case is due to be scheduled within the next 15 days.
